A republican moment is a relationship of forces. A fight. Of those who govern and those who do not want to be governed. It is the dispute of fear between the government of the rich and the people of the poor. Who are afraid? The poor to the rich with their monopoly of violence? Or the rich to the poor who revolt for the common interest? The re-public is not the government of the rich. The re-public is the power of the people of the poor exercising the public thing: instituting forms of life, creating rights of existence. The Argentine Republic is not constituted on a desert. The genocide of the Roco state is not settled. That antagonism reverberates in our bodies to this day. We were born here, we are mixed. The device of government and its criteria are the same as in the nineteenth century: revenue, accumulation, conquest, god, power and state. How do we prepare our bodies to defend ourselves against this continuous energy and material expropriation? What forces do we incorporate to create insurrectionary lives? EITHER THE OLIGARCHY IS OVER OR LIFE IS OVER, says a revolutionary Mapuche slogan.

Un momento republicano es una relación de fuerzas. Una lucha. De los que gobiernan y de los que no quieren ser gobernados. Es la disputa del miedo entre el gobierno de los ricos y el pueblo de los pobres. ¿Quiénes tienen miedo? ¿Los pobres a los ricos con su monopolio de la violencia? ¿O los ricos a los pobres que se sublevan por el interés común? La re-pública no es el gobierno de los ricos. La re-pública es la potencia del pueblo de los pobres ejerciendo la cosa pública: instituyendo formas de vida, creando derechos de existencia. La República Argentina no se constituye sobre un desierto. El genocidio del Estado roquista no está saldado. Ese antagonismo retumba en nuestros cuerpos hasta hoy. Nacimos acá, estamos mezcladxs. El dispositivo de gobierno y sus criterios son los mismos del siglo XIX: rédito, acumulación, conquista, dios, poder y estado. ¿Cómo preparamos nuestros cuerpos para defendernos de esa expropiación energética y material contínua? ¿Qué fuerzas incorporamos para crear vidas insurrectas? O SE ACABA LA OLIGARQUÍA O SE ACABA LA VIDA, reza una consigna revolucionaria mapuche.
