Vocal Streams is a compendium of ten years of work on vocal performances, workshops and theoretical research, as well as anatomical and electronic technical development. By exploring the knowledge that ancestral chanting techniques have in common with metaphysics and cybernetics theory, the voice emerged as a transpersonal and cosmic entity. This knowledge has been developed and explored physically and electronically (through software and electronic experimentation) in individual and collective environments in recent years. The book presents cyber-ancestral speculative theories, personal chronicles, philosophical essays and practical exercises for you to try. The aim is to create spaces and practices that encourage vocal imagination, experimentation and ecstasy.

In Vocal Streams, Agustín Genoud explores the voice as a living field. Drawing on decades of performance, workshops, and theoretical inquiry, he reimagines vocality by tracing unexpected connections between the human body and the spaces, machines, and histories that shape the voice.Blending essay, theory, autobiography, and practical exercises drawn from his Trans-Synthetic Vocal Workshops, the book follows the voice through bodily organs, resonant&#38;nbsp;caves, microphones, ancestral architecture, animal songs, and AI-generated voices. Along the way, it asks where voices begin and end, how they shape the boundaries between inside and outside, and what becomes possible when we stop treating the voice as&#38;nbsp;exclusively human. At once intimate and speculative, Vocal Streams is both a meditation on singing and a practical invitation to sing.

extended techniques, live electronics, live video, and tape. The piece 
articulates an ecosystem of vocal performative practices based on a 
post-human and materialistic perspective of voices and beings. A trans 
synthetic approach to vocal transitions and interpolations between 
human, animal, and robotic performative practices. Blending choral 
performance, electronics, and video art into apocalyptic themes from a 
post-human perspective. Envisioning a cosmic revelation where an 
otherworldly entity delivers a vision of the world's end, the performers
 embody a range of voices through extended vocal techniques and 
experimental vocal processing—from human to animal to machine.
The work is structured as a songbook (»Liederbuch«) that invites 
reflection on the doomed cosmos of hyper-technical knowledge even as it 
calls for new ways of coexisting as we witness the end of the »white 
dazzle night« of the Enlightenment. The piece was developed during a 
DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program residency in 2024, co-produced with and 
featuring video design by the artist Dafne Narvaez Berlfein.

The performance premiered with sold-out tickets at the 2025 edition of 
the CTM Festival in the venue Radial System during the Berlin winter.

This choir is envisioned as a tool for hacking the vocal sound performative proceses, is an important step of an ongoing research in vocal  practices and it’s performative nesting through vocal producing beings (mammals, birds, robots and exovocal systems).

The aim is to&#38;nbsp; explore techno-vocal performative practices that oscillate between human, animal &#38;amp; robotic vocalizations from a post-human and new materialistic perspective. The piece is a journey through multiple vocal worlds that articulate organic and artificial, human, machine and animal.

Since 2020 I’ve been involved in developing original music and sound performances for the company Ópera Periférica, among other venues we performed in Sur Biennial, New Opera Festival, Queer Art Festival (FAQ) and Bafweek.
Ópera Periférica understands opera as a multidisciplinary artifact with an impact on the contemporary symbolic order.

Each project is developed by an interdisciplinary team, from a perspective of gender, diversity, and social transformation.

 This project was declared of Social Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
and obtained the Bicentennial Scholarship for Creation from the National Endowment for the Arts.

A future society has created a memory to archive all the voices of the world: Pandora, a bioinformatic memory, is supposed to help better understand linguistic creatures. But are its memories accurate?In the northern Amazon, the practice of vowel splitting is found. Multiple creatures speak with one voice emanating from different places. Researchers refer to this as “induced auditory hallucinations.”This is just one of countless phenomena documented in the Pandora Archive. Florencia Curci and Agustín Genoud offers a tour of the collection of vocal figures.The duo from Buenos Aires was guests at the Radio Art Residency Weimar from April to June 2022.
The residency is a joint project of the Goethe-Institut and the Experimental Radio of the Bauhaus University Weimar in collaboration with the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, EIGENHEIM Weimar/Berlin and the ACC Galerie Weimar.

The workshop seeks to develop a factory of dissenting voices. Experiment and go through singing to deconstruct stratified hegemonic constructions within the subjective, bodily and social platform.

We explore how to treat the voice apparatus as a producer of modular sound designs in real time. Focusing on technical aspects of voice and sound we experience how to produce noises not assigned to humanoid vocal capacity and develop a hybrid work with technology. The objective is to advance on an exploration of vocal abilities from a parametric and synthetic point of view of sound production throughout the body. A post human and animalistic approach is used to understand the transitions between electronic and organic bodies; focusing on intensity production based on a spectral and materialistic performance practice.

A workshop to explore techno-vocal performative practices that oscillate between human, animal &#38;amp; robotic vocalizations from a post-human and new materialistic perspective. Based on contemporary expanded singing, corporal and holistic techniques, we propose a common space for collective performance, discussion, sharing and abyss to a temporary depersonalized voice.

Developing an awareness of how our own voices build themselves (technically and symbolically) and how it interacts with other voices is key to expanding social interaction amid differences and conflict. Voice is a pillar of self identification, exploring performative practices to build relationships with animalistic, technical and unhumanized voicing processes creates new paths to rethink ourselves and our being together.

Exploring anatomically, physically and electronically the production of body and voice, identifying the smaller parts that make up the larger vocal apparatus, which extends beyond our bodies and entangles with technical and symbolic systems. We will use this as a catalyst to understand the creation of a common voice that comprehends individuality, identity and dialogue in a hyperconnected technologically and semiotically over-stimulated environment.

Focusing on technical aspects of voice and sound production we will experience how to produce noises not assigned to humanoid vocal capacity and develop a hybrid work with technology.

Block Diagrams &#38;amp; trans synthetic notation

We develop a notation based on electronic design block diagrams to analyse and produce vocal sounds. Those modules are based on a parametric analysis of the vocal sound production and produce different approaches to hack the vocal sound proceses.

Unseen is an online platform and web archive that presents different approaches to listening and cultivating the relationship between our bodies, space and sound. Through a series of exercises, methods and video guides, we are invited to focus on sound as a tool for relieving feelings of separation and isolation, as a tool for imagining better futures.

Developed and curated by Ján Solčáni and Skupina Label.Unseen is a freely 
available, bilingual (English-Slovak) online platform/web-archive whose 
main goal is to present selected interdisciplinary art pieces working 
between listening / body / space, which can be perceived as sets of 
mechanics and procedures capable of reflecting contemporary social, 
political and environmental situation. &#38;nbsp;The aim is to stage the 
artistic practice and methodology as a tool for everyday practice; as a 
set of mechanics and procedures working outside the institutional 
framework of art. It should represent artistic methods and experiences 
as a knowledge which is able to critically disrupt the mechanisms of 
capitalist and neo-liberal labour. Tools for better understanding, for

My collaboration was a Trans Synthetic Vocalities “train-along”. The piece is a 45 minutes vocal training video around contemporary and experimental vocal techniques.


Some thoughts about the work:
Since 2010 I have been working and developing contemporary and experimental vocal techniques. In 2018 I created a specific training approach called Trans-Synthetic Vocalities based on a new materialist and post-human view of the vocal tract as a synthesis apparatus.

The workshop seeks to develop a factory of dissenting voices. Experiment and song working to deconstruct stratified hegemonic constructions within the subjective, bodily and social platform. We will explore how to treat the voice apparatus as a producer of modular sound designs in real time. Focusing on technical aspects of voice and sound we will experience how to produce noises not assigned to humanoid vocal capacity and develop a hybrid work with technology. The objective is to advance the exploration of vocal abilities from the parametric and synthetic point of view of sound production throughout the body. A post-human and animalistic approach is used to understand the transitions between electronic and organic bodies; focusing on the intensity of production based on a spectral and materialistic performance practice. We see techniques of care and cultivation of the voice and body for beginners as well as advanced techniques of singing and expanded voice. The techniques and exercises explored are also useful for gaining a better understanding of the voice apparatus, its health and good maintenance in any type of singing or voice projection and performing technique.

This video piece based on the works and exercises of the workshop was produced specifically for the Unseen project to contribute as a companion for research and experimentation; as an opportunity to re-practice and re-think the relationship between bodies, technology and voices as a performative social production medium.

2 Vocal compositions for voice, double mic and processing.

The Inaudita project arises as a continuity of the collaborations between the micro collective, Alma Laprida and Constanza Castagnet. It is a stage within the framework of a study process around the voice and listening, understanding both phenomena as cultural constructions. A delineated and regulated territory where the notions of identity, power and excess have their clear edges.

 Inaudita has as a precedent other projects based on invitations and artistic files developed by colectivo micro. In them, the design of devices that allowed sharing questions with whom the possibility of doing something together was remote but related at the same time was explored. Processes that found the body, voice and movement as focuses. In these projects, as well as now in Inaudita, the notion of the archive was worked on as a place that houses an investigative coexistence. Something alive and relational, a space where aesthetic strategies and procedures can coexist as vital exercises.

#umweltKapital is an ongoing trilogy, the first installment was a new media based opera commissioned by the New Opera Festival of Buenos Aires. Based on the concepts of Das Kapital by Karl Marx and on the work of the pioneer in ethology and cybernetics of life Jakob Von Uexküll. The opera constructs a scenic universe in relation to both texts, taking as a perspective the creation of value and the production of goods in the context of a growing computerization of the living and the creation of new production systems based on intelligent automation.#UmweltKapital proposes a staging process in which all the ontological and material aspects that shape the perceptual worlds of the performers are molded around the ability to detect and produce biosemisis and techno-capital. The consciousness of these performers as semi-techno-animals has been built from these premises. How they create and exchange meaning and goods, how they build feelings to relate to each other in complex virtual networks of goods and digital representations of value.The concepts of Ghost, spirit and spectrum in Marx are fundamental for the construction of the narrative developed by all the characters and beings, as well as the spaces and territories. All have a transitive dynamic between the material and the abstract in the construction of technical, life and merchandise flows.
In the work the instances of matter and language that construct individuals are splinters of a larger environmental being. In this scenario, the consciousness housed in biological, artificial, individual or collective beings is diffuse. The objective of the piece is to expose these contradictions and generate narrative, sound and performative experiences that challenge this transition.The performance consists of pre-recorded audiovisual scenes, 3D animations and a live performance performed by 3 performers on a stage / auditorium.
These 3 elements are mixed live by the 3 performers who develop the scenes in the auditorium.


#umweltKapital was performed 3 times live through streaming events the&#38;nbsp; 09/25, 10/02 and 10/03.
